Job Summary
We seek a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position requires strong organizational skills and managing multiple tasks while maintaining confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Counsel and direct employees’ issues, concerns and/or request in an unbiased manner.
- Assist with orientation, new hire onboarding, benefits enrollment, etc.
- Ensure pre-employment and ongoing requirements are met.
- Maintain filling systems both electronic and physical.
- Apply all HR and company policies/guidelines daily.
- Utilize software such as Microsoft Office, Paylocity, QuickBooks, Paylocity.
- Predominantly work in office setting but will alsp spend time on processing and warehouse floor weekly. Exposure to temperatures of an average 38 to 28 degrees encounter wet floors and /or damp areas, meat products including blood and fat pieces.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Decision-making; independent decisions daily, addressing the best way to handle specific situations.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Paylocity, QuickBooks.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to speak, understand and translate Spanish & English dialects fluently.
- Confidentiality: Ensure information/documents remain confidential.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
