About the Role:
We’re expanding and seeking a driven Assistant Handyman Project Manager to support and help coach our team of maintenance technicians and plumbers. This role is ideal for someone who values high-quality work, strong customer service, and team leadership. While most of our work is service-focused for residential properties, experience in commercial or GC environments is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Supervision & Development: Support, coach, and manage maintenance technicians to ensure work is completed to company standards. Address performance issues and encourage ongoing improvement.
- Job Matching & Logistics: Work with the dispatchers to assign the right techs to the right jobs. Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure team alignment and smooth job execution.
- Estimating & Approvals: Create estimates for jobs under your supervision. Confirm necessary client approvals are in place before work begins.
- Work Order Management: Keep work order details updated daily to reflect real-time progress.
- Tech Oversight & Payroll Prep: Monitor job completion, confirm quality via job photos, and verify work for timely technician payments.
- Hands-On Support: Step in to assist or complete work on projects in specific regions when needed.
