Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned, self-motivated accounting clerk to handle routine clerical tasks. Successful candidates will be detail-oriented with strong communication skills and a customer service mindset. The ideal candidate should have experience with QuickBooks, as well as working knowledge of banking portals, credit card processes, and customer billing portals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and approve technician timesheets.
- Generate and send invoices to customers.
- Communicate regularly with customers regarding outstanding balances and account issues.
- Record and process incoming payments by check, ACH and electronic payments.
- Post vendor bills and credit card transactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Be detail-oriented and self-motivated.
- Capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Work both individually and in a team-oriented environment.
- Absorb and retain information quickly.
- Demonstrate client sensitivity and empathy.
- Exhibit excellent time management skills.
