Responsibilities
- Performing testing on low, medium, and high voltage breakers including Megger, Ductor, Power Factor, Hi-Current, and Timing tests.
- Wiring substation equipment.
- Testing substation grounds grids.
- Utilizing and accurately reading meters.
- Reading schematics and wiring drawings.
- Troubleshooting circuit breaker, transformers, and load tap changer controls.
- Reading and plotting time-current curves.
- Testing power transformers to include all NETA required tests.
- Testing current and potential transformers.
- Accurately documenting using Power DB software.
- Able to work with electrical tools.

Qualifications
- 5 years’ related experience in substations, power plants, primary power distribution and related protection and control schemes.
- Minimum 2 years of substation power systems experience.
- Licensures and Certifications: NETA 2, 3, or 4 preferred.
- Education: High School Diploma.
- Reference and complete assignments as described in applicable specifications.
- Perform regular field work both indoors and outdoors.
- Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, business acumen, management ability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
