Job Summary:
This position is responsible for designing production layouts and processes that increase productivity.
Eliminate wastefulness and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Standard time creation and improving Line balance and producing flow chart.
• Creating SOP and work standard.
• IE tools improvement and introduction.
• Evaluating the production capacity, manpower, and equipment needs of each model.
• Facility layout design and planning.
• Process improvement and analysis.
• Production capacity improvement and production cost reduction.
• Analyzes labor, material, and fixed costs to develop and update product costing models.
• Process arrangement of mass production for new product.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) to resolve build in different stages.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Familiar with lean manufacturing principles and practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Good communication skills at all levels; written, oral & presentation skills required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD or similar design software.
• Chinese language is a plus, chance to communicate with Asia.
Education and Experience
• Degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field or 5 years of professional work
experience in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering.
