Warehouse Operator 1 – Cycle CounterAssociate 1

PURPOSE OF POSITION:  The Warehouse Operator 1 – Cycle Counter is responsible for conducting daily cycle counts and location audits. Additionally, this person will perform basic research of inventory variances.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cycle Count assigned parts and audit assigned locations.
• Conduct basis research of inventory variances and help find resolutions.
• Work closely with Warehouse team on inventory-related issues.
• Escalate issues to Inventory Control Lead or Manager when necessary
• Maintain all housekeeping and safety standards.
• All other duties as assigned by Lead or Manager.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in a warehouse setting.
• Computer literate in a Windows Environment; Excel, Word, Internet.
• Ability to travel between buildings as needed – approximately 10 miles.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English; handwriting must be legible.
• Forklift, Scissor lift and pallet jack experience preferred.
• SAP and QWMS system experience preferred.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Basic math skills, including accurate counting skills.

• Detail oriented.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Ability to perform repetitive motion with hands and arms.
• Ability to work with a team of diverse individuals.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

·       Ability to lift up to 65 pounds.

·       Able to stand, stoop, kneel and bend.

·       Ability to walk and stand on cement floors for long periods.

·       Able to work in warehouse environment with no central heat or air.
