Machine Operator

Job Summary

• The Machine Operator is responsible for the process of packaging the customer's product and ensuring that the packaging is of the highest integrity.
• The Machine Operator ensures that all systems are clean, neat and orderly.
• The Machine Operator is responsible for knowing the functions and operations of the packaging line and ensuring that all systems are clean and operating correctly.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment in a safe manner at all times.
• Follow all work instructions.
• Accurately complete and forward all paperwork in a timely manner.
• Monitoring packaging and controlling the process per work instructions.
• Verifying that all packaging supplies are in good condition before using and reporting any non-conformance on a NCR form.
• Maintain housekeeping of Packaging Line and associated areas.
• Assist in all operations of the packaging lines as required
• Report findings of contaminates to management.
• Take product samples as required .
• Communicate all problems and issues to management.

11 . Follow all safety procedures and all Quantix workplace policies.

Safety

• Responsible for reporting any incidents or injuries to management immediately.
• Responsible for reporting any known safety issues to management immediately.

Qualifications

• Must pass drug test
• Lift up to 25 kilograms (55.1 pounds) for 15 minutes.
• Lift and move pallets weighing up to 34 kilograms (75 pounds)
