We are looking for a skilled Senior Back-End Developer to design and maintain scalable, high-performance server-side systems, ensuring seamless integration and robust functionality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end systems to support business applications.
- Develop APIs (RESTful and GraphQL) and ensure secure and efficient data handling.
- Implement robust database management solutions using SQL and NoSQL technologies.
- Optimize application performance, including load balancing and caching mechanisms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate back-end functionality with front-end applications.
- Implement secure coding practices, including OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS encryption, and defensive coding techniques.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Utilize microservices architecture with tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Leverage frameworks such as Spring Boot, Django, Flask, or Express.js for scalable solutions.
- Participate in Agile development processes using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
- Define, build, and automate test cases to ensure system reliability.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years of experience in back-end development.
- Proficient in programming languages like C#, Python, Node.js, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like React.js and Angular.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and serverless technologies like Lambda Functions.
- Expertise in performance optimization, including caching and resource management for high-volume transactions.
- Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
NICE-TO-HAVE:
- Experience with payment systems, including credit card processing and payment gateways.
- Proficiency in scalability and high availability solutions for large-scale transactions.
- Familiarity with distributed systems and back-end architecture.
- Knowledge of payment systems and protocols, including EMV, PCI-DSS, 3D Secure, tokenization, and encryption.
- Comfortable working on various OS platforms.
SALARY: This role includes quarterly profit-sharing bonuses as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, retirement planning, and other benefits. Base salary range: $111,000 - $155,500 Salary including quarterly profit-sharing bonus and comprehensive benefits program range (annualized): $140,925 - $ 194,325
LOCATION: This role requires the employee to work onsite at our Anaheim Hills location.
