Position Overview: Queens Nassau Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and qualified Clinical Psychologist/Neuropsychologist to join our team. This full-time position requires immediate availability. The ideal candidate will provide our patients a comprehensive range of neuropsychological, psychological, and cognitive remediation services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct neuropsychological and psychological assessments.
- Provide cognitive remediation services.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Supervise and guide two cognitive therapists in setting cognitive remediation goals and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document and maintain detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and policies.
Qualifications:
- Education: Doctorate in Psychology.
- Licensure: New York State License (NYS).
Experience:
- Proven experience in psychological and neuropsychological assessment.
- Desirable: Background in brain injury rehabilitation and/or cognitive remediation.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
