Position Summary
Provides excellent customer service by preparing and serving menu items. Creates the "WOW" experience for guests of Quest. Food Service Worker I will have 1-2 years in Food Service; regular direction in completing tasks; general food prep, cleaning and service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Cascades the vision of Quest Food Management Services ensuring the Quest vision, values and founding principles are effectively communicated, understood and practiced.
- Demonstrates commitment to Quest vision, values and missions through actions on a daily basis.
- Set up deli bar after slicing meats and cheeses
- Prep pizzas for the day set up the station and serve
- Prep salad bar, set up salad bar, maintain and replenish through meal periods

Set up and maintain the sweet station with cookies, cakes, fruit parfaits, milk shakes, smoothies.
- Cut fresh fruits
- Maintain accurate temperature logs
- Food safety/sanitation practices
Job Requirements/Specifications
Education and Experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a cash handling position
- Ability to perform simple arithmetic as well as to understand measurements and conversions
- Responsible for meeting and maintaining state and local certification requirements (Food Handler certification)
Preferred:
- Previous experience in the food service industry working in schools / higher education
