FLSA: Non-Exempt
POSITION SUMMARY: Assists in the receiving, shipping, logistics, warehouse, storage and distribution activities throughout the assigned facilities.
REPORTING STRUCTURE: Senior Director of Operations or designee
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Assists with the daily activities of the Receiving, Shipping and Warehouse Departments.
· Ensures products, parts, and supplies are shipped, distributed, and or received in an effective manner.
· Maintains preservation of items received, stored and shipped, methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining and shipping stock.
· Initiates related reports of department activities as required.
· Follows safety instructions and best practices.
· Maintains the cleanliness of the warehouse and direct work area.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
· Four years of receiving, shipping, warehouse experience.
· Working knowledge of M/S Word and M/S Excel, other related programs.
· Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to operate a variety of warehouse equipment. Ability to lift 40 pounds.
