Job Description
A successful Labor Coordinator will be a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly, manage and organize a pipeline or needs and have a strong track record of working well under pressure. You need to be comfortable taking initiative and working across teams in a small, but structured environment.
The primary focus will be filling labor requests needs for our Texas market. And working with our freelancer roster for bookings, changes and cancellations as needed from our clients.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Assess labor needs based on client orders and match appropriate skills with requirements
- Actively engage freelance database to swiftly fill client orders based on positions and skill set required
- Communicate show updates to freelancers based on updated schedules from clients: Time changes, cancellations and additional changing show needs.
- Responsible for effectively communicating show information to crew via email before each booking
Customer Service
- Operate with the highest level of customer service and hospitality mindset when working with our clients
- Work with a strong sense of professionalism when interacting with freelancers
Communication
- Maintain high communication standards, both verbally and in writing, to meet and exceed expectations
- Participate in weekly on-site check ins to properties during show to assess productivity and that top-tier hospitality is being provided to our clients
- Work with your direct supervisor to assess training needs within the freelancer database and help support the scheduled trainings through logistics, material preparation and training
Required Experience
- 2-3 years of corporate AV experience
- 2-3 years of labor management experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical skills required
- Must be willing to handle freelancer calls/texts in evenings or weekends as needs arise during busy season
Salary Range: $52,000-$60,000, annual bonus eligible.
