Overview
Responsible for daily administration of all employee staffing duties; staffing processes, enforcing of company policies and providing excellent partnership along with clear and continuous communication with Hiring Managers to assist in the execution of workforce staffing. Key Administrator for the Applicant Tracking and Onboarding System.
Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
• Administers pre-employment steps: background checks, drug screen and physicals.• Supports awareness of OFCCP regulations and the manager’s responsibility in being an Equal Opportunity Employer. Ensure managers complete the online interview flow log.• Administer the Random Drug Screening process – DOT, FTA, Safety Sensitive positions• Complete DOT verification when requested.• Administer the DMV Pull Notice Program – yearly audits, review driver records, process CHP Audits• Process all new hires in the HRIS system and create employee files. Ensure all new hire documentation is complete and filed timely.• Ensures Hiring Managers follow staffing procedures in the on-boarding process.• Assist managers with training needs to understand the staffing process.• Assists Human Resources staff with other administrative requirements.• Basic understanding of the company vision and values and essential information about the company’s career opportunities, training programs, employee benefit plans and other relevant policies.• Other duties as assigned.
Wages
$20.25 - $25.00
Starting wage will depend on experience and education. We also offer a total compensation package in addition to base salary.
Qualifications
High School Diploma, Associates Degree preferred. Two to three years of HR Admin experience; intermediate to advanced skill level in Excel and HRIS required; or combination of education and experience.
