Cabinet Builder

R.A. Heath Construction & Millwork is seeking a Cabinet Builder to join our Millwork Division.

Under the direct supervision of the Production Manager, the Cabinet Builder will manufacture cabinetry. Produce finished work of high quality.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Build neat, clean, fixture boxes
• Warehouse/work area responsibilities:

• Keep work area clean
• return tools and equipment to designated storage area
• turn off equipment when not in use and at the end of the work day

• Maintain safety standards
• Close and secure all warehouse overhead and entry doors at the end of the work day

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Experience with hand tools, reading and interpreting a tape measure, and general manufacturing experience highly preferred.

· Understand industry standards for quality workmanship on a consistent basis

· Reliable attendance and the demonstrated ability to take direction

· Demonstrate an ability to increase technical skills

· Ability to communicate effectively co-workers

PERFORMANCE METRICS:

· Maintain acceptable standards for quality work

· Maintain acceptable ratio of quality work to job-time completion

· Maintain effective team work and workflow on the job site

· Must be able to carry 40lbs. or more an average of 50 feet on a regular basis
