Equipment Technician, $19 - $22 hr'
AT OUR GOLDEN OCALA GOLF CLUB
Full-Time, Various Shifts
Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club is in search of a motivated, team-oriented individual with previous Golf Course Technician experience. This person will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all the equipment operated by Golden Ocala and its entities i.e. security, golf maintenance, horticulture, housekeeping, food & beverage, etc. This Technician will work alongside the Equipment Manager and three Technicians.
Experience Requirements
- 1 year minimum as a Golf Course Technician
- Working knowledge of grinding and reel setup a plus but not required
- Working knowledge of both gas (4-cycle & 2-cycle) and diesel equipment repair and maintenance
- Ability to diagnose electrical and hydraulic issues
- Maintain a preventative maintenance program
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and determine appropriate repairs
- Ability to work in an organized manner to complete repairs or pm within an appropriate time line
- Computer knowledge for inputting PM and repairs records.
- Communicate effectively, keep clean shop and equipment and work in a team environment
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
