Summary: R&R Solutions is in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk that computes, classifies, records, and analyzes numerical data for use in maintaining accounting records by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities
- Compiles and sorts documents, such as bills and checks, substantiating business transactions.
- Audits bills against purchase orders, researches discrepancies.
- Codes data for input to financial data processing system according to company procedures.
- Prepare checks, account statements, reports, and other records, and reviews for accuracy.
- Processes credit cards payable and accounts payable to ensure that payments are up to date.
- Reconciles report discrepancies and problems.
- Assists employees, vendors, clients, or customers by answering questions related to accounts, procedures, and services.
- Scans documentation into processing system according to company procedures and files correspondence, bills and purchase orders.
- Assists with special projects as required.
- Backup for receptionist (vacation days, lunch and other times as needed).
- Assign and track company assets.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of QuickBooks Accounting software; Various web-based tools; Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Pay Rate:
- Based on experience.
