Job Description

Housekeeping is responsible for ensuring R-Ranch’s rental units, bath houses, offices, common areas and restroom facilities are kept to the highest standards that provides all guests with quality service and a clean and safe environment throughout their stay.

We are looking for a professional Housekeeper able of attending to our facilities with integrity and attention to detail. Our goal is to create a clean and orderly environment for our guests that will become a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening our reputation.

Essential Duties

• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with resort standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the resort
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform when working
• Comply, at all times, with the resort’s standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient resort operations
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
• Respond to all guests’ requests, problems, complaints, and/or accidents presented through reservations, comment cards, letters, and/or phone calls, in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner. Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction
• Inventory or move furniture, mattresses, kitchen appliances for rental units
• Address all housekeeping related work orders
• Maintain lost and found items
• Prepare and submit maintenance request forms for reported issues
• Other duties as assigned

Daily Activities and Responsibilities

• Cleaning of all rental cabins
• Clean and restock six bath houses on property
• Clean and restock the Lodge-Boardroom, Activity Center, Foyer, and Restrooms
• Clean the Welcome Center and restrooms in Welcome Center, Maintenance and by the restrooms serving the pavilion and softball field
• Clean the restrooms at the pool bath house during peak season
• As needed, remove trash and replace liners – pool area, dog park, lodge fire ring
• Maintain the housekeeping supply closet and van stocked and organized
• Wash, dry and fold laundry and prepare linen boxes for each rental unit
• Other duties assigned

Education and Experience

• Housekeeping experience preferred

Other Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have valid DL and clean driving record
• Must be able to pass background and drug test
• Saturday - Wednesday Schedule

Physical Requirements

• Required to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms
• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Required to stand, walk, climb or balance
• Medium work – exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
• Vision requirements include color vision, the ability to adjust focus and close vision
• Must be able to speak and hear

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.50 per hour

Shift:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Experience:

• Cleaning Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
