What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleaning Staff - Short Term (1 Week) position at R&T Staffing LLC?
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable custodian to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of custodial duties to ensure that the facility is clean, organized, and ready for events of all sizes and styles.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed
- Clean and maintain equipment, including vacuums and floor buffers
- Clean and disinfect high-touch areas, such as door handles, light switches, and elevator buttons
- Respond to spills and other cleaning emergencies in a timely manner
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including the preparation of event spaces and the removal of debris
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment
Schedule and Pay:
- 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM
- 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM
- 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a custodial or cleaning role is preferred
- Physical ability to lift, move, and carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Flexibility to work a variety of hours, including evenings, weekends
- Must be 18 years of age or older
