Senior Manager of Patient Access

As our Senior Manager of Patient Access, you will be responsible for managing the Patient Access Supervisor, Patient Access Administrative Coordinator and Patient Access Associates. Every day, you will coordinate with the patient access team in the operations of daily job responsibilities. You will also be responsible for working in the standard as necessary to meet team metrics/SLA's. To thrive in this role, you must have experience in a hospital environment (ER preferably) and possess exceptional communication and customer service skills. Here’s what you will experience working as a Senior Manager of Patient Access: Coordinate with the patient access team in the operations of daily job responsibilities Develop, recommend, and oversee the implementation and administration of policies and procedures of patient admissions and bill auditing services Evaluate process and procedures and coordinate with the management team to ensure efficient patient processing, bed utilization, and adherence to federal and local laws and regulations Demonstrate, through plans and actions, a consistent standard of excellence to which all department work is expected to conform Focus on continuous improvement working with the Senior Manager and Patient Access Managers across the Health System with a goal of delivering the highest degree of quality service possible Provide support for Human Resource guidance Complete, review, manage and monitor department budget Directs and leads the patient access team in the daily operations Represents Patient Access on various committees and teams and in meetings Required Skills: Minimum three years of experience working with patients in a hospital setting 5 years of Leadership skills/experience Desired Skills: Bachelor's degree highly desired At least 3 years of leadership experience within healthcare industry For this US-based position, the base pay range is $79,382.00 - $99,301.61 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
