Salary: Program Support SpecialistPosition OverviewThe Program Support Specialist provides budgetary, financial, and administrative support to ATF and NCETR programs. This role supports program managers and analysts by assisting with budget development, execution, reconciliation, and reporting activities to ensure effective management of assigned programs and projects.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide budgetary and financial support associated with program and project development, justification, execution, and reviewSupport ATF and NCETR program managers and analysts with day-to-day budget support functionsPrepare reports, exhibits, analyses, and supporting documentation for budget estimates and ad-hoc requestsAnalyze and reconcile financial and programmatic documents across multiple programsWork within ATFs Unified Financial Management System (UFMS), including creating obligations and processing invoicesAssist with long-range budget forecasting, identification of future requirements, and analysis of potential funding issuesSupport execution of program support services in accordance with ATF budget policies and proceduresUtilize Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to support reporting, coordination, and documentationQualifications and ExperienceCandidates must meet one of the following education and experience combinations:Preferred:Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of ten (10) years of subject-matter-related experience providing budget or program support to ATF or NCETR programsORHigh school diploma or GED and twenty (20) years of subject-matter-related experience providing budget or program support to ATF or NCETR programsRequired Skills and ExpertiseKnowledge of ATF budget policies and financial management processesExperience working in ATFs Unified Financial Management System (UFMS)Strong analytical skills for reconciling financial and programmatic documentationProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
