Position: Lead .NET Developer
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)
Contract type: Only W2
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of banking applications using Microsoft technologies (.NET Framework / .NET Core / .NET 5 ).
- Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance banking software solutions.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Mentor and guide a team of developers, ensuring best practices, code quality, and adherence to project timelines.
- Conduct code reviews, resolve technical issues, and optimize existing applications.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in banking technology and software development.
- Ensure all solutions comply with banking regulations, security standards, and data privacy laws.
- Prepare technical documentation, test plans, and deployment strategies.
- Coordinate with QA, Operations, and Security teams for smooth deployment and maintenance.
Requirements:
- 10 years of professional experience in .NET development with a focus on banking or financial services.
- Proven experience leading technical teams and managing complex projects.
- Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, WCF, Entity Framework, and LINQ.
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server, stored procedures, and database design.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, Angular, or React is a plus.
- Knowledge of banking domain processes like payments, core banking, lending, or treasury systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is advantageous.
- Sound understanding of security protocols, encryption, and compliance standards such as PCI DSS, GDPR, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect or Developer
- Certification in Banking or Financial Services (e.g., CBAP, CFA) is a plus
