RaceTrac Company Overview Job Description: The HR Compliance Manager ensures all human resource practices are in compliance with regularly requirements, internal polices, and relevant federal, state, and local statutes. Responsibilities: Manages HR compliance programs and stays abreast of all applicable legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR activities to ensure compliance with the company’s policies, procedures, and reporting activities. Manages RaceTrac’s Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Planning programs in accordance with regulations, including plan development, reporting, training, and providing full cycle day-to-day support and OFCCP audit support. Consults with legal team in assisting HR and management to make recommendations on proper utilization of applicable compliance programs. Seeks process improvement opportunities, audits standard HR processes and partners with process owners to implement process efficiencies, and audits compliance programs to ensure compliance and mitigate business risk. Serves as an internal consultant, promoting the continuous development of HR professionals with respect to HR compliance programs and provides day-to-day advice and counsel to various HR and business leaders. Manages vendor relationships for HR compliance systems and partners cross functionally to ensure system alignment and implementation of system changes and upgrades. Maintains compliance websites for internal use and associate referencing tools and resources. Identify, research track and report changes in laws and regulations; conduct analysis on the impact of the changes to the organization; ensure compliance with poster and notification requirement. Identify areas of potential risk and implement process improvement in all areas related to HR Compliance; escalate any regulatory compliance risks associated with organizational activities. Provide support as necessary to resolve compliance issues, including actions in response to Regulatory exam findings; assists in root cause analysis and the development of appropriate metrics to ensure ongoing compliance efforts. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required 5 years of professional experience including working with Human Resources Compliance Programs Proven ability to build relationships and manage stakeholders at different levels in the business, with the skill to sustain the relationship while constructively challenging and influencing Knowledge of and experience with HR Compliance, AAP, EEOC, Immigration, I-9 and E-Verify Ability to lead teams through influence and motivation vs. direct reporting authority Strong coaching skills Strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills Working at RaceTrac Petroleum, Inc.
