What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Reporting Intern (Summer 2026) position at RaceTrac?
The Operations and Analytics Intern will collaborate with cross-functional departments to gather information and create appropriate reports through PowerBI to be distributed. They will be expected to report on the company’s trends/performance through different KPIs with the ability to interpret the performance and communicate/present the information effectively to key stakeholders.

What You'll Do
- Creates and disseminates reporting and analytics to Field Operations and other cross-functional teams as needed.
- Responsible for the support, analysis, and project management of the labor forecast system; collaborates closely with the Special Projects department and heads up the operations side of the system rollout.
- Participates in meetings and collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and manage processes to ensure field personnel receive value-added reports, data, and information in order to effectively increase profitability.
- Works closely with the creation and deployment of the performance reporting software; is responsible for systems training and continual development of the technology.
- Analyzes information such as operational and financial trends from reporting tools to determine the information Field Management personnel need to make business decisions and drive profitability. Assists in communicating findings and recommendations to Field Operations.
- Coordinates the flow of resources, personnel, information, reporting, and data between the Store Support Center and Field Operations.
- Serves as a liaison and subject matter expert to field and SSC personnel by communicating metrics, reports, and processes to the appropriate user and maintains an open line of communication between Field Operations and various Store Support Center teams.
- Provides support with special projects as needed.
- Current enrollment in a college or university with a major that aligns with the department
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) preferred
- Knowledge of PowerBI, SQL, Python, and R preferred
- Previous internship experience preferred
