With oversight and guidance from the Strategic Sourcing Manager, the Analyst manages the entire Strategic Sourcing Process from Initiation to contract execution. Some travel may be required.
Responsibilities
- Manages end-to-end sourcing project lifecycle activities including: 1) Stakeholder Engagement, 2) Data Mining and Requirements Gathering, 3) Market/Industry Research, 4) Drafting of RFx materials, 5) Conducting RFx process, 6) Internal/External Communications, 7) Proposal Analysis, 8) Price/Product/Service Negotiations, 9) Formal Presentation/Recommendation, 10) Contract Authoring and Redline Management, 11) Contract Terms Negotiations, 12) Contract Deliverable Drafting and Execution, 13) Project Closeout
- Creates and manages multiple concurrent Project Timelines
- Develops and enhances Stakeholder relationships
- Facilitates cross-functional discussions and formal meetings
- Tailors communication to adjust to people at various levels and functions within the organization as well as externally
- Crafts compelling deliverables to support business decision-making
- Presents complex information in a way that is easily understood by the receiving audience
- Bachelor’s degree from 4-year College or University
- 1-2 years’ experience in a related field preferred
- Experience in a project management environment – preferably working with large projects (spend, complexity, and/or duration) collaborating with cross functional teams
- Involvement in reviewing, managing, and interpreting large and/or complex data sets
- Exposure to handling multiple concurrent projects
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Project or PowerBI
- Proven success building impactful relationships with current and potential business partners both internally and externally
