Job Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. You will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and creating a positive impression for our patients. The ideal candidate must be energetic, friendly, organized, and able to learn quickly and multitask in a team-based and fast-paced environment. They must also have great people and phone skills, and be able to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
Must be good with computers. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. No experience in dental offices is necessary! We are committed to providing you with mentorship and training to perform all duties to advance your career with a corresponding salary increase.
Schedule:
- 2–3 days per week working on our patient days during our rotating weekly schedule
- Every Tuesday
- Every other Monday
- Every other Thursday
- Every other Friday
- One Saturday a month
Responsibilities:
- Greeting and checking in patients
- Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and follow up with appointments
- Sterilizing instruments and maintaining clean work areas
- Managing patient records and insurance processing
- Verify insurance, submit and check on insurance claims, post checks to correct claims, and collect co-pays
- Oversee payment collections from patients and contact insurance companies for payment settlements
- Maintain the office in a clean, safe, and organized manner
- Cross-train as a dental assistant
Qualifications:
- Dental assistant training or experience preferred but not required
- Front desk or customer service experience a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
