As a Production Associate I you will perform efficient assembly of electronic components while meeting our quality standards. You will play a vital role in completing a wide variety of requested tasks for cable, bus, agricultural and surveillance products. Our team operates on a Monday – Friday 7am – 3:30pm schedule. REI is looking for a dependable, great attitude, and strong work ethic individual who is willing to contribute and learn about electronics.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for performing production tasks according to established procedures and guidelines. You will support the manufacturing operations by collaborating with team members and supervisor to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Verifies incoming and outgoing products meet quality standards and processes
- Utilizes IR Scanners for labor entries and verifying part/serial numbers
- Accurately building /modifying products, by following blueprint measurements and instructions
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently to complete production tasks
- Inspect electronic components for quality assurance and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to uphold safety and efficiency standards
Knowledge & Skills
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Working knowledge of the metalworking processes
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
