Job Summary:
The full-time hotel night auditor is responsible for overseeing the nightly operations of the hotel, including guest check-in and check-out, reconciling financial transactions, and ensuring guest satisfaction during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Check-In and Check-Out:
• Welcome guests arriving during the night shift.
• Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service and address any guest inquiries or concerns.
• Financial Reconciliation:
• Perform nightly audits of the day's financial transactions, including room charges, payments, and adjustments.
• Balance all revenue and settlement accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare daily reports summarizing financial activity for management review.
• Security and Safety:
• Respond promptly to any security or safety incidents, following established procedures and protocols.
• Customer Service:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for guests during the night shift, providing assistance and information as needed.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and courteously, seeking to resolve issues to the guest's satisfaction.
• Administrative Tasks:
• Complete administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record-keeping accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with the preparation of reports, correspondence, and other documents as required.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a hotel front desk or night audit role required.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reconciliation.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with hotel management software system Opera is an asset.
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Additional certification or training in hospitality management is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• This is a full-time position during overnight hours.
