Job Summary

• Daily duties would be troubleshooting & repair of mechanical machinery used in manufacturing of insulated high temperature wire.
• Working in the following areas: mechanical machinery, equipment electrical systems & control, pneumatics, welding & fabrication, light machining.
• Maintain and fix all equipment and machines
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace and follow established safety rules and regulations
• Safe working conditions and machinery for all employees. All facilities and machinery in complete OSHA compliance.
• Keep machine repair logs, equipment files, & parts list up to date.
• Management of maintenance shop, tools, and inventory
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills / Abilities

• Ability to regularly of reading, writing, math, blueprint reading, and electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic schematic reading.
• Effectively use Micrometers, indicators, calipers, and similar measuring tools
• Skills in the use of Punches, drills, taps, reamers, saws, hoists, ladders, and similar tools
• Able to use Acetylene torch and welding equipment and Arc Welding.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5-10 years experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
• Prior experience in a manufacturing facility preferred
• Electrical experience with motors, drives, & control circuits a plus
• Basic Computer Skills
• Must pass drug test
