Geriatric Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Geriatric Medicine Specialist to join Radixsol in West Springfield, MA. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with elderly patients and providing high-quality, comprehensive care tailored to their unique needs.

About the Role:

• Provide primary and specialty care to geriatric patients, including those with chronic conditions, cognitive impairments, and multiple comorbidities.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, including medical histories, physical exams, and functional assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, treat, and manage common geriatric conditions such as dementia, frailty, osteoporosis, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and more.
• Develop personalized care plans that address the physical, emotional, and social aspects of aging.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, social workers, physical therapists, and other specialists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

Requirements:

• Education: Completion of a residency program in Geriatric Medicine or related field.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in geriatric medicine or a related field.
