A high profile trading firm with a global presence is currently expanding their Chicago trading team and is searching for Equity Analysts to join their highly successful team. There is an immediate need here, so the right candidate can expect to move forward quickly should they display the relevant skills and acumen for the position.
Responsibilities
- Investigate global events and extrapolate the potential impact on global equities markets.
- Research risk and provide traders and Quants with relevant data and information to inform trading decisions.
- Take responsibility for decisions and advice provided to trading teams.
Experience, Skills and requirements
- EITHER 2 years of Buy Side experience, or 3 years if coming from a sell side background.
- Experience with at least one of the following: Long AND Shorts markets, Options or Single Stock Equities.
- Hunger and motivation to excel.
- Excellent communicative and collaborative skills.
- Risk taking attitude with a calculated approach to doing so.
- Strong educational background in relevant degree.
