A leading high-frequency trading firm based in Chicago is seeking an adept C Developer to assist in the development of their trading systems, to maintain the availability and reliability of their trading systems, and to develop innovative automation solutions to reduce manual workload.
Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative solutions in areas like exchange connectivity, research and data engineering, and execution
- Ensure the reliability and availability of systems
- Find and take hold of opportunities to automate systems and reduce manual workloads
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 2 Years experience coding with C
- Knowledge of and experience working on Linux systems
- Experience troubleshooting complex software-related incidents
- Extensive experience debugging software
- Experience developing automation solutions
- Experience with multi-threaded programming and distributed application architecture
