Join our dynamic Therapeutic Equestrian Center as a Program Director dedicated to transforming lives through equine-assisted therapy and recreational activities. In this vibrant leadership role, you will oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of therapeutic programs that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being for diverse participants. Duties

• Ensure that program follows proper safety and professional protocol.
• Instructor for 30% of classes each week.
• Manage contracts with client agencies
• Train and supervise instructors, ensure assessments are completed in a timely manner.
• Assist in lesson planning (10wks spring session, 10wks fall session, 6wks winter session)
• Correspondence with clients, their guardians and/or agencies.
• Maintain current and complete paperwork for all students.
• Manage session schedules.
• Jointly monitor equine workload and selection with the barn manager.

Skills

• Proven experience working with children or students in educational or recreational settings.
• Strong background in behavior management techniques to support participants with diverse needs.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams within the agency (Executive Director, Barn Manager, Instructors, Volunteers), and outside of the agency including healthcare providers and caregivers.
• Passion for equine-assisted therapy combined with enthusiasm for fostering inclusive recreational environments that promote health and wellness.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.42 - $14.90 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
