Rafael Lumber has been operating from its Andersen Drive location in San Rafael since 1983. A one-stop shop for general building supplies, Rafael Lumber is the most complete building supply company in Marin County. We are currently seeking out motivated, energetic, and responsible individuals for the following position:
Receiving Clerk: Seeking a receiving clerk who is primarily responsible for helping receive and stock store merchandise. You may also be involved in signing for shipments and reconciling packing lists with the orders received and assisting in the computer end of the receiving process. You will work under the receiving manager and may be asked to perform other misc. duties related to the receiving department.
Duties and Responsibilities
- direct delivery drivers to the the correct unloading station
- receive and sign for deliveries
- check deliveries against orders, invoices, manifests and other documents to verify correctness
- record and report overages, shortages and discrepancies
- inspect the condition and quality of delivered items
- prepare and keep records of good received
- store stock in an orderly manner in appropriate locations
- assure proper storage conditions
- comply with standard safety and operating procedures
Pay rate DOE. For full-time employees, benefits begin first of the month following 60 days, including: medical, life insurance, paid vacation, sick and holiday time, as well as voluntary dental, vision and 401(k) with employer match. EOE.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
