Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Operations Manager - Cross Border located in Laredo, TX. The Operations Manager will oversee and manage daily cross-border transportation operations. Responsibilities include coordinating logistics, planning efficient routes, optimizing delivery schedules, ensuring compliance with cross-border regulations and safety procedures, communicating with drivers and stakeholders, and identifying areas for process improvement. The role also involves managing budgets, resolving operational issues, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Qualifications
- Operations management and process optimization skills
- Knowledge of cross-border regulations, customs procedures, and compliance requirements
- Ability to coordinate logistics, plan routes, and ensure delivery efficiency
- Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder and team engagement
- Proficiency in using transportation management or logistics software is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
- Spanish language proficiency is an advantage
