Part-Time Legal Assistant
Boutique Litigation Law Firm – Boca Raton, FL
We are a boutique litigation law firm in Boca Raton seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Legal Assistant to support our attorneys with daily litigation and administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone with prior legal experience who thrives in a fast-paced, organized environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain attorney calendars, court dates, and litigation deadlines
- File legal documents with state and federal courts and coordinate service of process
- Coordinate and schedule hearings with opposing counsel and the court
- Review incoming pleadings and ensure all deadlines are properly calendared
- Organize and maintain client files (electronic and physical)
- Prepare and organize exhibits and binders for hearings and trials
- Schedule court reporters for hearings and proceedings
- Assist with outgoing and incoming mail
- Perform general administrative duties, including scanning, copying, and filing
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a legal assistant or legal secretary (litigation experience preferred)
- Familiarity with court filing procedures and litigation deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems
- Professional communication skills and ability to work independently
