WHAT IS RAINY DAZE BREWING?
Rainy Daze Brewing Co. has been dazing the Kitsap Peninsula with our award-winning brews for the past 11 years. We are a small brewery and taproom located in Poulsbo, WA, operating off a 7.5 BBL system. We are dedicated to the quality of our product and in brewing an exceptional beer. The ideal candidate for this position is someone with a positive attitude and is very passionate about craft brewing, has great customer service skills, a willingness to continue learning about the brewing business, and would like to experience working with all facets of brewery production in a team atmosphere.
MERCHANDISER/DELIVERY DRIVER
Under the work direction of the Owner and Sales Representative, the Merchandiser is primarily responsible for delivering/retrieving all kegs of beer along with delivering, merchandising canned beer produced by Rainy Daze Brewing to our wholesale accounts, as well as weekly washing of returned kegs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Make deliveries, pick up empty kegs and interacts with wholesale customers
·Load and unload delivery vans
·Performs other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED:
·High School diploma or GED equivalency
Must have a valid Washington State Driver’s license and a clean driving record
Must be 25 years to apply
Must be able to operate a forklift and pallet jack.
·Must be able to read/comprehend written and oral instructions in English; read and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals.
·Must have manual dexterity sufficient to operate a wide variety of small hand tools and brewery equipment
·An attention to details and safety rules are a must
·Enthusiasm and strong personal knowledge of the microbrewery industry and its market is preferred. Great customer service skills are needed.
·Ability to work well with superiors and co-workers in a production and office/warehouse environment
·Ability to change tasks quickly and still maintain attention
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
·While performing the duties the employee is:
·Constantly required to stand
·Frequently required to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs
·Equipment typically used: Keg washer, keg filling equipment, pallet jack, forklift.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Employee frequently works in a brewery environment with a moderate amount of noise and activity. The work environment is fast-paced, requires attention to details and can be demanding as we get a great product out to our customers.
