- Provide patient education related to skin care and protection prior to and/or after a procedure or surgery.
- Obtain or review the patient’s medical history and maintain medical charts.
- Ensure treatment rooms are sanitary and safe for patient care.
- Coordinate patient care with the medical team.
- Perform non-invasive procedures and assist the medical team during invasive procedures as directed.
- Follow-up with patient after treatment completion and discharge.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of approved aesthetician program
- Current aesthetician licensure
- Prior experience as aesthetician in a medical setting
- Standing for approximately 90% percent of the day
- Periods of walking, sitting, bending, and reaching
- Fine motor skills
- Visual acuity
