The range displayed reflects the range the company reasonably expects to pay for the position. The actual compensation offered to the selected individual(s) will depend on their relevant education, training, or experience, among other bona fide factors.

A Pharmacy Technician trainee is an entry-level position in which the trainee learns the job skills of a pharmacy technician.

Examples of duties include but are not limited to

Waits on customers, answers phone and operates cash register in the Pharmacy;
Operates the computer, inputs data, looks up refills, and retail prices of prescription drugs;
Calls doctors' office for authorization to refill prescriptions (California only);
Receives orders from patient;
Types pharmacy labels (California only);
Checks in merchandise and stocks shelves;
Conducts general housekeeping duties when needed;
Pharmacy Technician will assist pharmacist with filling prescriptions and pull prescription merchandise from shelves.

You will get paid while you train in the pharmacy to learn different aspects of the pharmacy under the pharmacist's supervision
After 1500 hours of training, you can apply for a Pharmacy Technician License with the Nevada Board of Pharmacy!

Pharmacy Technician schools require completion of 6-12 month of course work and these programs cost thousands of dollars. This is a great opportunity to obtain your Pharmacy Technician license without the cost of an expensive program all while getting paid to train.
