Job Description
The Product Quality Control Inspector upholds and maintains product quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Inspects incoming and in-process materials by conducting visual inspection, measurements, and rejecting unacceptable materials. Dispositioning of relevant materials required in the role.
- Approves finished products by confirming requirements from general product knowledge and specified manufacturing drawings, conducting visual inspection and measurements, and returning products to Production for re-work.
- Documents inspection results, and issues nonconformance reports, when necessary, across relevant departments throughout NPI.
- Quality case management, driving disposition and corrective action according to general Root Cause, Corrective Action methodology.
- Collaborate with production departments on-site to drive quality control amongst all operators, supporting quality inspection processes with appropriate documentation.
- Handles tool calibrations and incorporation of relevant documentation into NPI’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Other duties may be assigned.

- One to two years related experience and/or training in a manufacturing environment
- High School diploma required
