What are the responsibilities and job description for the housekeeper position at Ranch House?
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at our hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for our guests. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for the following duties :
Cleaning guestrooms mid-stay and after departure, ensuring that all surfaces are properly sanitized and disinfected.
Making beds with fresh linens and pillows.
Replacing dirty linens and towels with clean ones.
Restocking guestroom amenities like toiletries, drinking glasses etc.
Removing garbage, recycling, and room service trays from guest rooms and hallways.
Picking up and returning laundry items to the laundry room.
Organizing and stocking housekeeping carts with all necessary cleaning supplies.
Notifying the maintenance department about broken appliances, old light bulbs, or any damage to the room.
Upholding the hotel's confidentiality and security standards by not disclosing any guest information.
Dusting and polishing various surfaces and furniture in guest rooms and public areas.
Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors in guest rooms and public areas.
Emptying trash bins and replacing trash liners as needed.
Requirements :
Previous housekeeping experience would be advantageous.
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Must be physically able to perform the duties of the job, including standing, bending, and lifting.
Must be punctual and reliable.
Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
