Job Summary:
Providing excellent customer service to guests and walk-ins. They connect and understand the guests needs and refer them to the appropriate departments when necessary. The front desk receptionist role involves crafting guest experience: they check them in, assign rooms, and ensure luggage and needs are in the room and ready. They also ensure guest departures are smooth. They communicate with guests at the highest level of hospitality and integrity and accommodate guest's special requests whenever possible. This position is Full Time, and free lunch during every shift. The starting rate of pay is $15.00 plus. This position is benefited with Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
- Check in guests
- Works the telephone console
- Answers questions
- Posts charges
- Distributes mail
- Gives out change
- Balance cash drawer
- Programs wake up calls
- Transfers calls
- Gives out first aid items
- Cleans living room area
- Manages lost and found
- Makes copies
- Acts as information central
- Checks guests out
- Sends faxes
- Coordinates with housekeeping
- Handles guest complaints
- Monitors pool table
- Takes items for safe keeping
- Receives packages
- Does town runs
- Arranges for guest transport
- Ships guest items out via UPS and FEDEX
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be flexible regarding scheduling based on business demands including nights, weekends and Holidays as needed

- Prior experience with Agilisys computer system (Preferred not required)
