What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gift Shop Supervisor position at Rancho De Los Caballeros Ranch & Golf Club, LLC?
- Oversee Gift Shop operations
- Develop creative retail sales strategies to meet sales goals
- Open and close gift shop
- Create sales promotions
- Receive, tag and display new merchandise
- Reconcile cash drawer, run shift reports, prepare cash deposits
- Process sales transactions, refunds, and exchanges efficiently
- Troubleshoot errors or system/process glitches in POS system
- Assist ranch team members with guest needs
- Maintain and update inventory in POS system
- Ensure proper inventory levels are maintained
- Conduct, audit and reconcile monthly inventory
- Process and ship online shop purchases
- Prepare staff schedules, process payroll, maintain expenses within budget
- Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the gift shop
Qualifications
- Background in Retail preferred
- Exceptional Customer Service skills
- Sales experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Supervisor experience a plus
- Ability to represent the resort in a professional and positive manner
