Randall Mechanical is currently seeking a top-tier Revit Detailer with Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing experience to work in our Headquarters in Apopka, FL for large commercial projects across Central Florida. We are excited about this important role and are determined to consider the best and brightest candidates who meet our requirements.
Position Summary
At Randall Mechanical, the Revit Detailer is responsible for taking mechanical (wet & dry), electrical, and plumbing General Contractor/Client drawings to create fabrication and installation drawings for our Shop and Field Teams.
Essential Functions
- Create drawings in Revit software for fabrication and installation of MEP systems.
- Collaborate with Trade experts to plan conflict-free system installation.
- Identify potential problems with design intent quickly and present cost-effective solutions.
- Operate within strict quality control standards with proper documentation.
- Take direction from Senior Department Leaders regarding workload and timeframes.
- Complete field surveys as required to create final as-built drawings.
Desired Qualification Requirements
- High School / Higher Education diploma required.
- Certification in Revit training or experience required.
- 3 – 5years experience as an MEP Detailer.
- Understand contract drawings and local codes.
- Communication skills (can speak to people in a professional environment).
- Strong English language ability required, bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred.
- Time conscious (can be on time and efficient).
- Demonstrate dependability, flexibility, and teamwork.
- Ability to pass drug screen and background check.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to adhere to, implement, and always follow safety procedures.
- Ability to work well with others.
Physical Requirements
This is primarily an office position and, as such, you must be able to sit up to six or more hours in an eight-hour workday, lift light objects such as files and paperwork frequently during the day, and objects weighing up to 10 pounds occasionally during the day. You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job.
