General Description: The Multilingual Learner Teacher is responsible for teaching English language literacy skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) to Multilingual Language Learners.Responsibilities: *Supervise, instruct and monitor ESL/ELL/MLL students utilizing a variety of instructional methodologies and curriculum resources and checklists specifically designed for students. *Planning, developing and employ customer service strategies, including but not limited to instructional activities in the classroom for ESL/ELL/MLL students*Utilizing a variety of instructional methodologies and curriculum resources geared specifically towards MLL/ELL students.*Working as a team member, utilizing management techniques such as sharing common planning, professional development, curriculum design, and teaching responsibilities to ensure a positive work environment. *Monitor performance planning and analysis in the classroom environment by administering different forms of student assessments and planning instruction for students based on the data from the assessments. *Facilitating and participating in meetings and employing other customer service strategies, in order to build knowledge and skills of students and determine and assess how student needs are being met.
- Serve as a link between the school, students and families. Providing support and sharing information to customers on /MLL/ESL/ELL matters, resolving any service delivery issues and ensuring satisfaction.Terms per the Unit A Collective Bargaining Agreement
