Transportation Engineer/Project Manager (PE)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing transportation projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure that project goals are met and that all parties are satisfied with the results. Your expertise in transportation engineering and project management will be critical to the success of our projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in transportation engineering and project management
• Strong technical skills in transportation engineering, including roadway design, traffic engineering, and transportation planning
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with transportation projects in the public sector
• Experience with project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera
• Experience with design software, such as AutoCAD or MicroStation
• Experience with traffic simulation software, such as VISSIM or Synchro

Responsibilities:

• Manage transportation projects from start to finish, including planning, design, construction, and closeout phases
• Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets, and ensure that they are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure that project goals are met and that all parties are satisfied with the results
• Provide technical expertise in transportation engineering, including roadway design, traffic engineering, and transportation planning
• Lead project teams, including engineers, designers, and support staff, and ensure that they are working effectively and efficiently

As a Transportation Engineer Project Manager PE, you will use your technical expertise in transportation engineering and project management to manage transportation projects from start to finish. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure that project goals are met and that all parties are satisfied with the results. Your strong technical skills in transportation engineering, including roadway design, traffic engineering, and transportation planning, will be critical to the success of our projects. Additionally, your excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively, will ensure that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Finally, your experience with project management software, design software, and traffic simulation software will be beneficial in this role.
