This role combines the crucial functions of People Systems Analysis and Operations, ensuring both efficient People and Culture administrative processes and the effective use of our People System (UKG). The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of both People practices and technology.
Job Summary: The People Systems and Operations Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day administration and optimization of our People System, while also contributing to efficient People operations across various functions. This role ensures data accuracy, compliance, and supports People and Culture initiatives through system management, reporting, and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
People Systems Management:
Manage and maintain the People System database and related systems, ensuring data integrity, system configuration, and user access.
Troubleshoot and resolve People System-related issues, providing timely technical support to People and Culture team and end-users.
Assist in system upgrades, implementations, and testing, collaborating with IT and external vendors as needed.
Ensure data privacy and security by maintaining access controls and complying with relevant regulations.
Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and conduct training sessions for HRIS users.
People Operations Support:
Generate and analyze People reports and metrics to support decision-making, identify trends, and provide insights.
Contribute to optimizing People processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for automation and system enhancements.
Support various People functions such as talent acquisition, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance.
Collaborate with People and Culture team to gather requirements, translate needs into technical specifications, and ensure People System solutions meet operational needs.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures as they relate to the HRIS.
Respond to requests for employment verifications and unemployment inquiries.
Provide reports and data to support annual EEO-1 reporting.
Review HR invoices against contracts for accuracy before submitting for processing and approvals.
Respond to day-to-day employee inquiries.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Five years of total experience in Human Resources / People and Culture; Three years of which focused on HRIS/People System administration or was in a related role.
Strong understanding of People operations.
Experience with UKG required. Experience with Lever and HR Soft is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of People processes and practices, including data privacy and compliance regulations.
Experience with advanced Excel functions and data analysis tools
