Reconstruction Project Manager

General Description: The Project Manager is responsible for completing repairs to both residential and commercial structures that result from wind, water, or fire damage. Ability to effectively communicate, negotiate and provide outstanding customer service while maintaining strict budgets and deadlines. Motivate and oversee teams of vendors and subcontractors. Properly document files using notes, documents, and photographs. Strong organizational and time management skills are required to be successful in this role. Project Managers should have the ability to estimate jobs in Xactimate.

Essential Job Duties

• Manage job scheduling and job progress from start to finish in an efficient and cost-effective manner with a strong focus on quality.
• Communicates with homeowners, claims personnel, other internal support staff and management in an efficient and customer focused manner.
• Budget jobs to achieve profitability goals, meet monthly and annual production goals.
• Estimate repairs using Xactimate to program standards for multiple insurance carriers.
• Document files and track repair process through completion.
• Discuss scope of repairs with customer, assist in making material selections within budget.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years minimum experience in the Insurance Restoration, Remodeling or Construction background
• Prior experience in water mitigation or mold remediation is preferred but not required.
• A thorough knowledge of the insurance restoration process is preferred.
• Has a thorough knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• IIRC certifications are preferred.
• Strong computer skills required: Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Knowledge of Xactimate
• Prior CAT or large loss experience is a plus.
