RAPP Chicago is looking for an Associate Director of Experience Strategy to join our award-winning Experience Strategy team.

YOUR ROLE:

The Associate Director, Experience Strategy will own the development and execution of strategy for the relationship between Marketing and Recruiters for the United States Army. The role will have responsibility for all aspects of program defintion and design, understanding the complicated hand-off of data and systems between marketing and recruiting command. As the day-to-day owner of the strategic vision, the Associate Director will need to understand the long-term vision and marketing roadmap in order to bring that vision to life and drive efficiency with the Army recruiting force.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the development of marketing to recruiter strategy across the United States Army account
  • Own all strategic deliverables across the account, such as annual strategic plans, audience analysis, impact estimations, project strategy
  • Have the confidence, gravitas, presentation and relationship building skills to drive change across client stakeholders
  • Partner with Marketing Sciences to develop integrated test and measurement plans
  • Work closely with Business Analyst teams in discovery and information gathering efforts to understand feasibility and potential project impacts
  • Be accountable for the execution of projects against the approved strategy
  • Analyze and present project results focusing on impact generated against business goals and potential for future optimizations.
  • Contribute to strategic recommendations on core CRM technologies (CDPs, journey orchestration tools etc) in partnership with technology team members
  • Be a champion for strategy within the office, network, and Omnicom at large
  • Strategically build client relationships and trust, and proactively identify business opportunities
  • Contribute to growing our thought leadership program

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong ability to understand complicated topics and distill that into digestible client and internal deliverables
  • Deep understanding of the data driven marketing landscape and a desire to invent the future of marketing
  • Comfortable analyzing project results and identifying potential optimization opportunities
  • Specific experience in CRM strategy development, owning the client’s strategy from conception to delivery
  • Experience managing and owning the development and delivery of strategic deliverables (annual plans, customer journeys, creative briefs etc) across complex client accounts
  • Experience of working with government agencies preferred
  • Confidence in working with senior clients on complex projects with impressive presentation skills, gravitas and credibility

  • You’ll have a track record of getting things done – you’ll need to be a driving force behind our desire to ‘keep our clients ahead of the game’. We want you to challenge their conventions and bring their strategies to life.
  • Interpersonally savvy – you will need to be able to handle the client on your own, lead projects and be their trusted advisor at RAPP.
  • You’ll support the rest of the team in their professional development by inputting to and quality controlling their delivery.

RAPP's current hybrid model is designed to enable in-person connections and collaboration that is core to our culture, while also supporting flexibility for all employees. As such, we have the option to work from home two days per week, if we'd like.

This range is specific to Chicago and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
