We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Hotel Housekeeper. As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness, orderliness, and a pleasant environment for our valued guests. Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize guest rooms and common areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and wiping surfaces.
Make beds, change linens, and ensure towels and toiletries are well-stocked in guest rooms.
Handle laundry tasks, such as washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and towels.
Keep track of cleaning supplies and report when items need to be replenished.
Conduct inspections of rooms to ensure cleanliness and report any maintenance or repair issues.
Collect and store lost items found in guest rooms or common areas, following hotel procedures for returning them to guests.
Follow health and safety guidelines while using cleaning agents and chemicals.
Communicate effectively with guests and other staff members, addressing guest requests and coordinating tasks.
Work collaboratively with other housekeeping and hotel staff to ensure a smooth operation.
Manage time effectively to complete tasks within designated time frames.
Requirements:
Prior experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred.
Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays, as per the hotel's schedule.
Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
