Raritan Valley Community College is seeking an Adjunct Instructor to teach in the Science & Engineering department.
The instructor will introduce the fundamental theories and laws of modern chemistry. Emphasis is placed on electronic structure and its relationship to bonding and the periodic table, the physical states of matter, stoichiometry, molecular geometry, gas laws, solutions, and their chemistry. Kinetics, equilibrium behavior, thermodynamics, acids and bases, solubility equilibria, electrochemistry, and nuclear chemistry are also covered.
Positions are located on the Main RVCC Campus unless otherwise noted.
Job Requirements:
Master's degree in Chemistry or related discipline.
Two years teaching experience required; college level preferred.
